Meet the Cast

Mackenzie Ludwig she/her (Mo) is a second-year student majoring in theatre with a concentration in acting and minor in psychology. She was previously in Fiorello (Chorus Cutie), Measure for Measure (Varrius), Circle Mirror Transformation (Theresa), and Assassins (Ensemble) at Heidelberg. Along with acting, she was also head of hair and makeup for Circle Mirror Transformation, One Man Two Guvnors, and The Letter G. Before coming to Heidelberg she was in Pride and Prejudice (Elizabeth Bennet) and Annie (Lily St. Regis) at Eisenhower High School. Mack is bloody excited for everyone to come along for the ride of You Just Never Know!
Dermot Healy he/him (Geoff) is excited to be returning to the black box in this production of You Just Never Know. His other shows include Stephen Sondheim’s Assassins (Charles Guiteau), One Man, Two Guuvnors (Harry Dangle), Measure for Measure (Escalus), Fiorello!(Ensamble), SpongeBob (Gary), The Other Place (Man), Wendy and Peter Pan (Tom), and Chicago (Ensemble).
Josey Norgren she/her (Police Officer #2) is so happy to be apart of her second Heidelberg Theatre production! She is a freshman at Heidelberg University and has recently moved here from Phoenix, Arizona. She is thankful for the past few years she spent with the QC Theatre Company (her high school theatre) and is excited to experience a new challenge in Musical theatre at Heidelberg. She thanks her Mom for being the backbone of her career and allowing her to pursue this which has ultimately allowed her to become successful in her field , and fortunately be nominated (and win) awards for it! Meg Amburgey she/her (Hair and Makeup) is thrilled to be a part of our production of You Just Never Know. She would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her!
Melaina Brostenianc She/Her (Co-Marketing Director) is beyond excited for this show! Melaina is a Sophomore AYA Education major with a concentration in Social Studies at Heidelberg University. She has been involved in Heidelberg's production of Fiorello! (Assistant Stage Manager), Endgame (Sound Designer//Marketing), One Man Two Guvnors (Assistant Director/Marketing), and Assassins (Assistant Director/Marketing). She has also acted as the Marketing Director for the theatre department. Outside of the theatre Melaina is also a part of Greek Life which includes Kappa Psi Omega and Nu Sigma Alpha Heid Babe's. Melaina would like to give a big thanks to Josey for all of her continuous help with the marketing and taking on the Co-Marketing Director position. Break a leg!
Bailey Grizzell is very excited to have worked on props on this show and work with some very talented people. This is her first time in props and she had a great time! She would like to thank her friends, family, and dog. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Amelia Hammond she/her (Scenic Charge) is so happy to have been part of the set crew in this amazing production of You Just Never Know! This is her first time as a Scenic Charge. Amelia would like to thank Autumn Perry (Director), Jer Marshall (Set Designer), Syd Mendez, Sam Barker, and the entire paint crew in Gundlach for trusting her design choices, and helping to execute them collaboratively. She would also like to shout-out Heidelberg Theatre alum, Bri Clark, for teaching her the ropes of being Scenic Charge! Her next appearance in Gundlach Theater will be in the production of 26 Pebbles in November.
Autumn Perry She/Her (Director) is a Senior Theatre Production and English Literature double major with a minor in Business and is overjoyed to be the Director for the black box production of You Just Never Know this September. Autumn has previously been involved in Heidelberg's productions of The Addams Family (Ast. Stage Manager), Eurydice (Production Stage Manager), Chicago (Production Stage Manager), Misery (Sound Designer), Top Girls (Sound Designer), Spooky-Dog and the Teen-Aged Gang Mysteries (Sound Designer), Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Production Stage Manager), Porch (Light Designer), Spongebob (Assistant Technical Director), Fiorello! (Production Stage Manager), The Woman in Black (Scenic Designer), Measure for Measure (Production Stage Manager), One Man, Two Guvnors (Production Stage Manager), The Letter G (Sound Designer), Assassins (Production Stage Manager, Sound Designer, Ast. Lighting Designer, Ast. Scenic Designer), and most recently Godspell (Master Electrician). Autumn is extremely grateful for her production roles this semester and looks forward to another wonderful semester in the theater. Autumn would also like to thank her loved ones for all the support they offer her!
Lauren Price She/Her (Costume Designer) Lauren is thrilled to be designing this show. She has previously assisted with production elements at Heidelberg such as assistant costume designer, prop work, and the Assistant Intimacy/Fight Director for One Man, Two Govnors. Most recently she was the costume designer for The Letter G. In other theaters, she has been stage manager, assistant stage manager, and costumes. She is thrilled to work on and off stage at Heidelberg. She would like to thank Autumn Perry and all the members of the production team who have made this such a great experience!
V Reynhout they/them (Production Stage Manager) is a Freshman Theatre Production major and Business minor at Heidelberg University. V is beyond ecstatic to take on their first role at Heidelberg University as the Production Stage Manager of You Just Never Know. While stage management has their heart, V is no stranger to other areas of the theatre, having worked various positions on shows such as Once Upon a Mattress (Spotlight Operator), Freaky Friday (Deck Chief), The Diary of Anne Frank (Assistant Technical Director), and The Little Mermaid (Assistant Stage Manager). V would like to thank Greg, Billy, and Nick back home for giving them the skillset and the confidence they need fulfill their role to its fullest.
Lexy Saxon she/they (Lighting Designer) Lexy is a senior theater production major at Heidelberg University. She has designed many shows here at Heidelberg including Measure For Measure, We Have Apples, The Letter G and Top Girls. She has also designed shows outside of Heidelberg such as Godspell and 9 to 5 with Lorain Community Music Center. They have also been assistant designer for many shows at Heidelberg. She is very excited for the opportunity to design You Just Never Know. She would like to thank everyone who has ever supported her throughout her career. They hope everyone enjoys the show!
