Meet the Cast

Becca Young She/Her (Jonathan Harker/Lord Cavendish/Lord Worthington/Lord Have mercy/Gravedigger) is a junior majoring in Theatre with a Concentration in Acting and a minor in Business. She is ecstatic to be a part of Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, previously performing on the Gundlach stage and the Black Box in Godspell (Ensemble/ Props Designer), 26 Pebbles (Actor 1),Trojan Women (Soldier/ Chorus u/s Menelaus), Birthday Candles (Alice/Madeline/Ernie), and Legally Blonde (Kate/D.A. Joyce Riley). You may also have seen her work as props designer for One Man, Two Guvnors, Godspell, The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged), and Legally Blonde. Becca would like to thank her family and friends for their constant support, as well as the entire cast and crew for all of their hard work, and dedication!

Becca Shoemaker She/her (Actor 3/Lucy/Kitty) is thrilled to dive into the world of Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors! Becca is a Sophomore Musical Theatre major at Heidelberg University from Mansfield, Texas. Some of her favorite roles from the past include Cady Heron (Mean Girls the Musical), Giacinta (Scapino), Hecuba (Trojan Women), Sheree Holinger (Sweet Delilah Swim Club), and Pilar (Legally Blonde The Musical). She is also a member of the Heidelberg University Concert Choir and Studio 2 Stage. It has been her pleasure to be a part of this hilarious rendition of a timeless classic. Special thanks from Becca go to her fellow castmates and director for putting together such a fun show, and to her family for always being her biggest cheerleaders.

Mia Puente She/Her (Mina/Van Helsing) is so excited to be in her first black box production! She is from Spring Texas and has been doing theater for a very long time! She is a first year musical theater major and writing minor. Mia has also performed in Legally Blonde (Ensemble)! She is also a member of the Heidelberg concert choir! She is so honored to be performing on a college level and would like to thank her parents, friends and God for always believing in her and helping her get this far!

Dean Morrison He/Him (Bosun) is super excited to be able to perform in his first ever Heidelberg production, Dracula: Comedy of terrors. He is a first year Musical Theatre and Political Science major with the intentions to go to Law school after he graduates. Dean has only been in one show ever where he took the role as Will Bloom in the production Big Fish his senior year of Highschool. He would like to thank Jerahmy Marshall for giving him the opportunity to perform in such a wonderful show and is thankful for the amount of support he gets from his family, friends, teammates, coaches, and you!

Diaunte Griffin He/Him Gibsonburg, Ohio (Driver/ Understudy for Actor 4) is ecstatic for this production of Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors to be viewed by so many people! Diaunte is a first-year here at Heidelberg University and is coming to like how the creative process here flows so smoothly with all of these adoringly positive people.

Jerahmy Marshall He/They (Director) Kissimmee, Florida is a sophomore Music Performance major with a Vocal Emphasis. He is the Director and Lighting Designer for this fun show! This is their first full show that they have directed and are so grateful to have a cast to make their vision come to life! They have assistant directed Dracula, The Very Unmerry Adventures of Robin Hood, and The Wiz.

 

As well as being a director Jerahmy Marshall has also choreographed and assistant choreographed many shows such as, The Wiz, Finding Nemo Jr., Lion King Jr, and Legally Blonde. They have also been in Godspell(Judas/John The Baptist, 26 Pebbles(Actor 2),The Complete Works of William Shakespeare(Jess/Jer), Birthday Candles(Billy/John), Amelie(Joseph/Elton John), Romeo and Juliet(Benvolio), and most recently Legally Blonde(Professor Callahan).

 

As a lighting designer, he has designed and assistant designed many shows but some of their favorites are Measure for Measure, Godspell, Little Women, and most recently Legally Blonde!

 

I am so excited to share this show you all and I hope you enjoy Dracula: A Comedy Of Terrors!!

Milana (Millie) Robbins She/Her (Production Stage Manager) is ecstatic to be participating in theater in her Junior year! She has participated in the International Academy of Macomb’s productions Alice in Wonderland (Lead Set Designer/Backstage Crew), Romeo and Juliet (Lead Set Designer/Backstage Crew), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Lead Set Designer/Lead Stage Manager). She also partook in Gundlach Theatre’s production of Fiorello! (Assistant Stage Manager), Measure For Measure (Assistant Stage Manager), One Man Two Guvnors (Assistant Stage Manager), Assassins (Assistant Stage Manager), Godspell (Production Stage Manager), and Legally Blonde (Production Stage Manager). Millie would like to thank her parents for their unconditional support through each production and her assistant stage managers for making the job go as smoothly as it did!

Bailey Grizzell She/Her (Props) - from Grove City, Ohio is so excited to be a part of Dracula: A Comedy of Errors! She is a second-year musical theatre major. She has previously worked on You Just Never Know (props), Sweet Delilah Swim Club (costumes), Trojan Women (dramaturg), and Legally Blonde (assist. costume designer, dance captain, and assist. intimacy coordinator) She is very grateful for her family, friends and her dog!

Sam Barker He/Him (Scenic Charge/Puppet Designer) is a current senior from Upper Sandusky, Ohio pursuing Theater Production and a minor in Art. Having transferred from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, and previously studying Art and Philosophy, he is honored to have the opportunity to assist the talented cast in this production.
