Thank you for being here to participate in this Community Meeting masquerading as a Play. 26 PEBBLES is a unique piece of Theatre, that both breaks the conventions of, and fulfills the true mission statement of the art form itself. I was fortunate to play the roles of MIKE/RABBI PRAVER/JOE/CHRIS in the World Premiere production of 26 PEBBLES at The Human Race Theatre Co. in Dayton, OH, under the direction of Igor Goldin. As an Actor, I was instantly struck by the truly UNIVERSAL and HOLISTIC approach taken by Playwright Eric Ulloa, eschewing politicization, and the inevitable polarization that accompanies it, and instead favoring community, and healing. Despite the often grim nature of the event in question, 26 PEBBLES offers a plea for healing, hope and humanity. It has been a pleasure to guide these brave, empathetic, and resilient Students through this process, and we're so happy to have this chance to commune with you, and create yet another ripple in the pool.
“The ripples. The vibrations. It's life. This stuff spreads.”
-Scott Hunt, Director
